I once helped to deliver a set of twins, where twin A (the brother) had started to grow exponentially more than twin B (the sister). He was literally squashing her (which is why they were being born early).
He came out weighing 3kgs, and his poor little sister came out weighing 1kg, and also had a literally somewhat squashed head, to the point that despite her having soft bones (because she was a newborn), she was probably going to require craniofacial surgery. Otherwise both normal healthy babies though.
I’m sure that changed the trajectory of little twin B’s life.
