A RAG system is better than a pure LLM for this usecase IMO.
- kolbe 3y agoYeah. This is what I imagined should be how these things work. But it is tricky. The system needs to pattern match on what types you've been using, if possible. So you need to vector search for code to do that. Then you need to vector search for the actual dependency source. It's not that simple, but would be the ultimate solution.
- viksit 3y agoa rag system that uses tree sitter vs vector search alone would lead to better results (intuitively speaking)? have you seen anything like that yet?
