Proposal to require San Francisco grocery stores to give 6 month closing notice
- Our_Benefactors 2y agoPresumably this is a reactionary policy to combat the large numbers of stores closing due to absurdly high rates of shoplifting. It seems ripe for “malicious compliance” once a store is ready to close; understaffed, poorly stocked, reduced operating hours, etc. Overall a very disgusting policy of overreach which does nothing to address the root causes.
