The US is making hay while the sun shines. Yes. The US is bankrupt. Yes the US still manages to sell UST. One morning we will wake up to find that the World refuses to buy any more US Dollars. Just as the World one day decided that the Zimbabwe dollar was just confetti, The World is rapidly approaching the point where the World decides that the US dollar is also just confetti. (I estimate the US of 2024 is in roughly the same situation as Britain was in around 1960.)
