Vala fit the bill nicely. I enjoyed it much more than python and the performance is great. I wanted something that was performant and minimized battery usage since I’d be using it on my pine phone.
- zem 3y agoI used vala back when I had a Nokia n900 - it really was the perfect thing to write small apps for my own use, and there was a nice cross-compilation toolchain. in all the years of owning an android I have never done that.
