Ironic that an app whose name itself was co-opted from the Microsoft product name now has to deal with someone else re-co-opting that same name.
- earthnail 3y agoThat’s not a fair comparison. The notepad++ owners wrote a piece of software (and an amazing one too). This owner did not write a new notepad fork.
- zzzeek 3y agoa name is a name, if someone wrote an all new ORM for Python and called it SQLAlchemy++, as the creator of SQLAlchemy I'd be pretty pissed
