Court to Prohibit Hytera from Selling Products Containing Two-Way Radio Tech

- sinuhe69 3y agoCould somebody enlighten me how a U.S. court could impose a worldwide sanction on a foreign company (in is case Chinese)? Yes, I understand that Hytera is a global company with a subsidiary in the US. But is there not a thing as a jurisdiction? Maybe the case involved a U.S. patent dispute? But still, a U.S. patent is not a world-patent and has no validity outside of the US. So what is the legal basic for such overbearing claims? Just because we can??
