Notice how all the benefits they mention are for physicians and not for the patients. That's a pretty backwards approach to healthcare
- Calavar 3y agoIt's a benefit for health system C-suit execs because it makes physicians "more efficient," and it's ultimately the health system C-suite who will be signing off on the contracts for five years of AI messenger service or whatever, not the physicians.
- ipv6ipv4 3y agoStanford medicine in a nutshell. Stanford medical has spread like a cancer around me, and all the clinics that were acquired immediately became awful.
- raincom 3y agoYes, that's how 'reputation laundering' works: just acquire all clinics and fool people with the tag "Stanford".
- SpaceLawnmower 3y agoPhysician experience is important for patient experience. Doctors are by and large overworked, and respondih to too many patient messages are a major contributor to burnout.
- jvans 2y agoApproaching the problem of doctor burnout by spamming patients with half correct responses to important medical questions is not a solution
