I honestly don't know, but the fact that they give updates for 10 years is impressive compared to everyone else. I bought one in fall 2012 and it got the DSM 7.0 update on 2022 or 2023; even though the UI is really really slow, it gives me a lot of confidence that they know what they're doing.
