people are giving 'cancel culture' a bad name, but in our late stage capitalism, where the markets apparently must dominate both democracy and religion, my take is that voting with your wallet is both your duty and the only option you have left. I had to buy a new car recently, and elon musk's persona is the main reason I didn't pick a tesla.
- LanceJones 3y agoDo you make all your purchasing decisions based on the company's CEO? What if you don't know his or her stance to know whether it aligns with your values... what then? Better not to know?
