Paris seems to be absolutely on fire when it comes to producing new fintech startups.
- wslh 3y agoCompletely agree, bad track record and/or explained by help from the EU. Not saying that EU promotions are bad but that there are not enough hungry entrepreneurs in Europe which is easy to explain by the great life standard there. This is the paradox. On the other hand there are counterexamples about great intentions coming up from France. For example, Semmle [1] which was acquired by GitHub for performing static analysis over the repository. Inria [2] is great but the problem is not research but how to compete at the business level with American-like companies.
