Very candid and honest account of her experience. I applaud her for her courage to use her audience to call attention to this. It's not exclusive to Physics by any means. I'm not an academic but I have family members who are and they either talk profusely about all the BS that goes on in research grants or just simply change the subject because it's too depressing.
