Show HN: Built a premium directory dedicated to high-quality tools
This is a previous project I decided to relaunch.
There's tons of directories that accept all submissions, but I feel like that just waters down the platform. It also isn't fair for the amazingly built tools and services.
I pivoted to a premium-only directory and feel like charging a small fee, while it might take longer to build the portfolio of listed tools, they'll be of much higher quality than other platforms.
- alexander2002 3y ago1.I cant find premium highy-quality tools on the site right now. Some of the directory are empty. 2.I understand the rationale to some extent about charging people for submiting tools but I doubt you bring much greater value(2x-4x) than existing similar platform to advertise your tools.Product hunt seems a similar usecase unless I am missing something. 3.https://fmhy.net/ https://fmhy.net/ I personally got involved in this redditcommunity as a user a while ago. This is highly curated although catered to free stuff.Maybe find some inspiration from this. P.S I am trying to improve my writing so i might have misspelled some stuff.I congrat you on releasing something but In my humble opinion,I am having doubts on the success of your project given the exisiting state.Hopefully some educated HN-users can give a better feedback than me

- KomoD 3y ago> but I feel like that just waters down the platform At least they have content, you don't. There's 7, all of which I'm sure you submitted.
- aznpersuasion 3y agoSite launched a few days ago. People need to submit content for content to be on the site, that’s the point. 4/7 listed tools have been submitted by others Thanks!
