I'm genuinely disappointed with this trasition. I don't know why Mr. John Gruber and Mr. Dan Benjamin have shied away from giving a formal explanation for this

  When professional relationships split, it's fairly easy and common to talk about. When personal relationships split, it's a very hard, emotional thing to talk about, and people tend to shy away from discussing it. And that's what has me worried, and most upset.
