I troubleshot, fixed, and learned a bit of a new spoken language for a project that was definitely being shut down over 6 months and the equipment destroyed. The new project would take over once it passed acceptance testing but the bugs of the old system were a daily annoyance to everyone. All of the knowledge learned does not apply to modern tech at all. I wasn’t even directed to do it.
