My CEO launched a project to convert our data/visualization platform from Domo to Datarama to save money and improve functionality. To avoid adding more work to my team, the CEO hired a consulting firm to do the work and assigned one of the operations team to help them with discovery. The project was doomed to failure because Datarama had all the same problems as Domo for our use case and, as the project dragged on, Datarama increased their pricing to match Domo's. Eventually the project died, but not after we paid for a year of Datarama and 8 months of contracting.
