Why Is Technology Mean to Me?
- dangus 3y ago“You might be reading this article thinking I’m the problem here.” Yes. The author seems to Google absolutely nothing. At no point did the author restart their phone. At no point did they look up how to clean lint out of a lightning port (with a toothpick). The author probably ignored the security update for weeks until corporate policy forced the update. “How am I supposed to remember my security questions?” God forbid you try using a password manager or even just writing things down in a spiral notebook. Every time they use their bank’s website it asks about trusting the computer. Have you tried googling this problem? Checking browser settings? Or even just trying another browser. Hell, try a different bank. The plane WiFi is down…I mean, there isn’t an airline on this earth that promises WiFi on every flight. About the only thing I can credit the author for is recognizing that printers suck. But then again the author probably did zero research and bought something that wasn’t a Brother laser printer. I understand that technology is complicated but at some point it’s more about an unwillingness or inability to learn new skills in your lifetime, which is pretty darn important.
