Practical quantum computing is going to be available in 3-5 years, and whatever "permanent" solution we establish today is going to have to be revisited as we use new protocols, etc in ways that we may not yet be able to imagine (I know I'll be downvoted for this because there are some with no vision, or they'll say "it's just bandwidth what does protocol have to do with")
