Can someone in the US please ask for DMCA takedowns against all of Microsoft's repositories? I've seen plenty of people using Microsoft products to "grow" piracy. Including github itself.
- madaxe_again 3y agoYou may jest, but Microsoft is the single biggest facilitator of piracy on the planet. Only when the “copy” function is removed from windows will copyright holders be able to rest safe.

- madaxe_again 3y agoI don’t remember them doing much about fckgw - I’m pretty sure piracy was part of their adoption strategy. Now they just give it away, which if anything underscores that.
- Xelbair 3y agoand they didn't fight it so they didn't have to count pirated copies of it for anti-monopoly antitrust investigations.

- mmh0000 3y agoYou may or may not be joking. But... As a (self-proclaimed) world-renowned pirate of all the media. A not insignificant part of my downloads come from OneDrive or Google Drive links. With MEGA in a close 3rd. Everything is else is torrents.
