I was saddled with an EV from Hertz unexpectedly (they said it was the only car left), and had to drive from NYC to MD and back. Charging was absolutely the worst part. And most of the charging stations were full at any given time. Range was extra bad due to the cold as well. I understand the EV model for home use, but it makes 0 sense for rentals today. It's vastly less convenient, even ignoring the other factors like depreciation
