I took a trip last year where I needed a car. Hertz was pushing the electrics hard, at a very reasonable discount. I ran the numbers in my head and decided there was no practical way I was going to be able to charge an electric and make my flight. I love EVs, I have an EV at home, but it was just not practical with my time limited schedule. Incidentally, in that same trip I took public transit most everywhere until the last day when I needed more mobility.
