Excellent!
"Virtual attendees will have access to all talks" leaves me wondering how much will be available to non-ticket holders (checked https://hope.net/faq.html https://hope.net/faq.html also).
- aestetix 3y agoFor HOPE 2020 and "A New HOPE" (2022), we had a matrix/element/whatever system set up just for ticket/virtual ticket holders. In addition to the ability to virtually hang out with other attendees, virtual attendees can join "rooms" that are linked into the talks, and have their questions related from the chat to the speaker. It's not the same as being in person, but makes the event more accessible for everyone who can't be there for whatever reason. To clarify: the talks will be streamed live free for all. The virtual ticket is a way for people to support if they can't attend, but we want to make the information accessible to everyone.
