What about we stop tiptoeing around the fact that we will have to hurt profit (especially for the gas/plastic companies) to do so, and enact change instead of just trying to profit out of this situation as well?
- Demcox 3y agoI believe this to be the central part of the problem. The west cannot meets it's climate goals and retain progressive growth concurrently. Forcing the public to use bamboo tooth brushes and recycling their shopping bags are drops in the ocean compared to Big Corp Inc. of the world. However, progressive growth is what the modern world is build on so when that changes, I believe we will see _real_ change. But yeah, good luck with that....
