'The Matrix' New Movie: Drew Goddard to Write and Direct
- jfengel 3y agoIt's hard to imagine this working out. Matrix 4 was Lana Wachowski's labor of love, working out some issue personal to her that even Lilly didn't share. It wasn't a terrible film. I actually liked it better than the previous two. But it wasn't great and it lost money. I suppose there's enough "there" there that it might work -- especially since they're not going to be shooting under pandemic conditions. I wish 'em luck. But it would come as zero surprise to me if this never gets out of development hell.
