Texas is very willing to use eminent domain, but perhaps not for rail projects or there are different statues for such a project. The use of eminent domain is pretty common for pipeline projects
- dustincoates 3y agoIt seems to have been largely forgotten (or never remembered, as transplants weren't around for it), but I think there's still a lot of scar tissue around eminent domain after the failed Trans-Texas Corridor project.
