Brother is almost universally loved, unfortunately they seem to be starting to play the HP subscription game.

I keep seeing this repeated in a “I heard someone who heard someone” sort of way, but don’t see anything saying that they’re actually moving to a subscription model (even in that Reddit thread). The only subscription I see for them is an optional ink program which is fair if people want to sign up for it.
