Show HN: I built a service to get hairstyle recommendations that suit you
I'd love to hear your thoughts
- ano-ther 3y agoWhat do you do with the pictures? The privacy policy is a bit circular. Privacy > User data, including uploaded photos, may be collected and processed to provide the Service. Refer to our Privacy Policy for details on data collection, storage, and usage.
- holytomato 3y agoThe uploaded photos are used for the purpose of recommending hairstyles
- matteason 3y agoYou also say that you're not limited to just using them for that purpose > We use the collected information to provide and improve our Service, including but not limited to face shape analysis and hairstyle recommendations. Something like this really needs a robust privacy policy answering questions like: - is my photo visible to you, the developer? - will my photo ever be shown to other users? - will my photo be used to train your recommendation algorithm? - how long will my photo be retained for?
- holytomato 3y agoThank you very much for the feedback
