The way these aid workers were attacked despite their movements being previously coordinated with the IDF is reminiscent of the modus operandi back when the 6-year-old Hind Rajab was killed. In that occasion she was the sole survivor after her family vehicle was hit by tank fire. Red crescent coordinated her rescue with the IDF, which greenlighted the dispatch of an ambulance, just to attack it on arrival. Weeks later the ambulance was found destroyed and the paramedics dead, hit by a tank, near the bodies of the girl and her family.
