Medicare forced to expand forms to fit 10-digit bills–a penny shy of $100M
- b112 3y agoMore dumb clickbait junk. They say they added 2 digits, so that means that a bill of $10M would need this change. Take off those 2 digits, and that's $100k. So before, if your bill was $104k, you'd need multiple bills. That's a far cry from clickbaitish $100M. This change was to enable billing $100k and up. The whole article keeps talking as if the change was to enable the maximum, not the minimum. Why even bother with this inanity? $100k+ bills aren't scary enough???
