We want more good people at a lower labor cost. That means recruiting from groups that have the necessary abilities and are under-recruited. Girls are severely under-recruited in the quantitative fields, so it would really help to have more of them.
- jack-r-abbit 14y agoMaybe you could expand on that? Because it kind of sounds like you are suggesting that more women should be hired because they come cheaper. I imagine some women would take offence to suggesting the "gender wage gap" makes good business sense. I doubt that is what you meant but it sounds like it.
