  Sad to hear, I hope most people are alright there. I was in Hualien back in 2018 and it was one of the most idyllic places I've ever been. It's a beach town and I remember my friend and I taking a bicycle to ride around in the sunlight and breeze. I'd like to go back sometime.

    The entire east coast of Taiwan is absolutely gorgeous, and Taipei - Yilan - Hualien isn't too long of a journey. If you can rent a motorbike and go further along the coast you will also enjoy a lot of nature right between mountains and the ocean. I also hope to get there again someday, I haven't had my fill of pineapple cakes either.

  praying for all the people of Taiwan. checked a map and it looks like all the TSMC fabs are on the West coast, across the island from the epicenter maybe a good /NQ futures scalp opportunity
