- sp332 3y agoThe Fed said they were only looking at core inflation, which excludes housing, energy, and food. Companies immediately started soaking consumers for those.
- jdlshore 3y agoYou’re implying causation, but doesn’t the fed always look at core inflation?
- sp332 3y agoWell they don’t like the rest for short-term trends because they are more volatile. But I think they would be important even if you could only use them for longer timescales.
