I used comfy ‘in production’ (for an installed art piece [1]) recently, driving Comfy as an inference backend with a TouchDesigner scripting / front end. Generally it’s very powerful and fast to iterate on but the fact that the nodes are keyed by index in the JSON means when you change your workflow you have some repetitive and error prone stuff to fix on your call side, each and every time, which I think this technique is addressing.
