I really should not have to go to the FAQ to understand the actual point of what they are hoping to achieve. The front page should make it clear that they are not advocating for servers remaining up indefinitely (which is a valid assumption given the wording on the page). An FAQ should actually answer questions not be where it tells you the point of the site.
