Are you going to ignore the worst wildfires, which were associated with terrible drought: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023_Canadian_drought https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023_Canadian_drought? Last year wasn't as bad in the US, but which way do you think the trend is headed given the link we are commenting on?
- YetAnotherNick 3y agoNo as I mentioned specifically in the comment, I am talking about "average". Similar to one cold winter in one part is not a proof of climate not changing, one draught shouldn't be attributed to climate change. In the graph that I can't find any pattern or trend. Draught were bad in 2011 and then it improved and then got bad again and seems to be improving for a year.
- 0xdde 3y agoI meant the original Climate Pulse link. You do not see a trend and do not believe we will see more frequent and intense droughts, and therefore wildfires, due to climate change?
