Metal thought to be International Space Station trash rips through Florida home

- extraduder_ire 3y agoThe image of the rod itself doesn't have any clues about scale. I assume it's smaller than it appears in that image, based on the description of it being a couple of inches in size. A shame the pallet couldn't be easily broken up into smaller pieces to avoid this. (would probably take a long EVA, if it were even possible)
- Doxin 3y agoYou can get an idea by the pictures of the holes it made. In one there's a shoe visible, in the other a small flashlight. (and roof tiles, but I imagine most people don't have a clear idea on how big those are)
- extraduder_ire 3y agoI'd expect the hole it made to be quite a bit larger than it from what I've seen of craters, and bullet holes. (both in photo and video form)
