I use Karabiner Elements on my Macs to bind right-side Command + hjkl as arrow keys throughout the system and it’s magical. I also use Karabiner Elements to bind Caps Lock as a Hyper Key, and then I use Keyboard Maestro to remap Hyper Key + the j/k bindings above to backspace and forward delete. Big ups, 10/10 would recommend.
