Does this seem odd to anyone else?
This adult in their 30s:
(1) Goes on a date with someone he calls a 'girl'
(2) Think the date went well (it likely didn't)
(3) Never reflects on why it didn't go well (at least he doesn't write about it)
(4) He then talk to a self-proclaimed psychopath with the hope of actionable advice for giving no effs in the future
(5) Gets micro-dosing curious (which is a lot of self experimentation)
...and all that instead of maybe changing how he approaches dates? Then he writes about it.
If this isn't gorilla advertising for magic mushrooms, it is a lot of work to avoid a small amount of self-reflection. I know firsthand that being single post 20s isn't anyone's idea of a party, but still.
- scientator 3y agoI think you mean guerrilla advertising, but I like gorilla advertising better.
- silverquiet 3y agoIf you're looking for a girlfriend, then it's probably best to go on a date with a girl.
