OpenAI Startup Fund: GP Hallucination
- neom 3y agoI submitted something about this the other day (and it got flagged)- poked around a little bit and the only interesting thing I could find is this: https://github.com/huggingface/chat-ui/issues/254 https://github.com/huggingface/chat-ui/issues/254 and I don't really even understand what it is, it references the stuff the dude who wrote this is discussing. I had kinda written the whole thing off as someone with too much time on their hands and is just f'ing around with stuff for whatever reason. I think they made this as well: https://chat.openai.com/g/g-KT4gusP3Y-a-l-i-s-t-a-i-r-e-early-response-system https://chat.openai.com/g/g-KT4gusP3Y-a-l-i-s-t-a-i-r-e-earl... - it doesn't seem very useful. *¯\_(ツ)_/¯ to me after spending an hr or so poking around, it seemed like a bored modern tech savvy young person playing around.
- 9dev 3y ago> Edit: I’ve received a few comments on the pic I’m using. This image was AI generated from Bing using the prompt: “Mannequin CEO conducting a Boardroom meeting with mannequin Directors.” And yes, I’m aware it’s a bit inappropriate, but decided to intentionality go with the first image Bing generated. Apologies if you’re not a fan, but (in my opinion) the best way to “fix” these things is to put a spotlight on it. It isn’t just inappropriate, it’s really sexism, too. The fact that the male mannequins wear suits and the female mannequins are naked speaks volumes about the internet used in training the model; and also about the reinforcing nature of these things. I’m not sure there’s something profound here, I’m just sad people continue to proliferate these stereotypes.
- PoignardAzur 3y agoI find it a bit amusing that Bing doesn't censor the naked mannequins.
- tiptup300 3y agoPeople need to be more often disclaim when they make an "ironic joke" to explain the joke and point out that those who enjoy the joke from the other side where, you're "just speaking the truth", those people are in the wrong. Or just.... not make the joke. Maybe as this sort of thing becomes a problem more often we'll see more of these "edits" on personal blogs, posts, comments, etc. Could be interesting to have a pen test set of ai generated images and every year see how the data comes out the other side. Probably not useful as the image would change so drastic each time even within the same set of data.
- clausewitz_ 3y agocare to share your opinion on like... the rest of the story here? you know, the words and all that stuff?
