upscayl is very approachable, but lacked many features i needed. i ended up using https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui after upscaling became part of my regular workflow, but for someone who just needs a few images enhanced, it's an ideal tool.
