Professor –> Big Tech
If I’m a tenure-track assistant or tenured associate professor of bioinformatics/data science and I teach a database course and algorithms/data structures course, both with a domain focus/concentration in bio, while also doing research/grantsmanship in these areas, what industry jobs/roles in big tech (e.g., @ Meta, Google, NVIDIA, etc.) would be most relevant or appropriate to me at this advanced career stage? Any general career development advice specific to academia-industry would be appreciated.

There could be better fitting bioinformatics roles at places like Calico or J&J. What do you want to optimize for? Money? Research? If I am already holding a tenured track position, I would go for visiting faculty position at places like Meta. They used to bring in people for 2-4 years.
