As someone who has a community who follows my stuff and demands more.... I somewhat get it. I became the central spot for this particular product. I get occasional emails from people saying the did this same thing, but on a smaller scale. I have scale, so I can do things much bigger than anyone else. I have a million people using this, vs a startup who has ~100. (Btw, I'm barely profitable, I was selling to frugal people...)
