Wasn't the spider thing just a YouTube joke or was that from an actual legit study?
- friend_and_foe 3y agoYeah it was real. Conducted in 1948 by Peter N Witt, the experiment was funded by NASA.

- 7thaccount 3y agoHonestly? Usually because 1.) there are tons of folks on HN FAR more knowledgeable than I on many subjects, 2.) it's more annoying on my phone, and 3.) frequently it's not just a simple search. My apologies for being lazy though and thanks for the link.
