"Lei claimed the standard version of the SU7 beat the Model 3 on more than 90% of its specifications, except on two aspects that he said it might take Xiaomi at least three to five years to catch up with Tesla on."
The article doesn't seem mention either of the aspects. Does anyone know what they are?

- zaptrem 3y agoThis is Xiaomi we're talking about. They've got #2 covered. The faux self driving has gotten pretty good lately. I tried routing to random places in downtown SF yesterday for an hour while on a call and for the first time there were no issues.

- enslavedrobot 3y ago1.5 million people die a year from car accidents. 10s of millions are permanently injured. Mitigating accidents through software that prevents collisions will lead to reduced deaths and save hundreds of billions of dollars. Broad adoption of the technology requires that it be cheap and easy to deploy. Tesla is already rumored to Benin talks to license FSD to other car manufacturers. 100,000 lives is a reasonable projection for 2030-2035 in my opinion.
