That's one of the advantages of NixOS - viruses and mass hacks have lesser chance to function due to how different this OS is. Until it gets more popular, of course.
- rany_ 3y agoIt's actually not an advantage. The reason why the exploit wasn't included is because the attacker specifically decided to only inject x86_64 Debian and RHEL to reduce the chances of this getting detected.

- lambdanil 3y agoThat's just security by obscurity, not something I'd consider a good security measure.
