- komali2 3y agoAlso far less fertilized plants, and therefore far fewer seeds. Hilariously, this is addressed in Bee Movie, which I can't recommend enough if you want to watch something that defies explanation of its existence, with every aspect of itself.
- mikrl 3y agoSomeone will find an alternative, market the shit out of it and it will become the dominant variety in 20 years once bees die out in France.
- tptacek 3y agoI don't understand the question. Isn't this like asking what happens if pigs don't thrive below the Great Lakes region? If battery farm collapse disorder was a thing, nobody would be freaking out. Native plants do not in fact depend on honey bees for pollination. Stories will run about native pollinators being threatened by ecological and environmental catastrophes, and we should take those seriously. But from what I understand, honey bees are one of those catastrophes.
