Their claim that
let s1 = String::from("hello");
let s2 = s1;
println!("{}, world!", s1);
is in fact safe code would suggest they indeed don't have much concern for thread safety.
- akiarie 3y agoWe said it isn't inherently unsafe. That's not the same thing as calling it safe. But yes, thread safety is down the road for us, when we get to C11.
