You don't have to pay it. It's only payable if you want to receive the letter.
- Leynos 3y agoThe problem is that there is no way of knowing what the letter is. All you get is a slip through your door saying an item of mail is waiting for you and has a £5 fee to pay. If you're like me, you pay the fee, fearful that it might be something important.
- datascienced 3y agoYeah it could be a speeding fine caused by a faulty detector after all!
- dnh44 3y agoAt my local depot they allow you to see what the item is before you decide to pay or not.
