If "climate change" is a problem in the way YOU think it is (vs the way I think is or the way that OTHER person thinks it is), there is absolutely flipping NOTHING you can "do" about it.
Only* governments are "big enough" to accomplish anything ... but they can only "accomplish" something through coercive force on their governed
And the relative size/influence of an individual government also speaks into how 'effective' they might be ... Sultan of Kinakuta? Not a lot of influence. Premier Xi Jing Ping? [potentially] loads of influence ... but he only cares about his own power, his party's power, and his country's power.
Then you also have the Trade-Off Effect - fines etc can be considered a "worthwhile risk" to someone who wishes to break the regulations of their government (some might think the potential for a speeding ticket for driving 25 over on the highway is a worthwhile risk vs saving time getting where they are going)
We know it was warm enough a thousand years ago for the Norse (including the Vikings) to be farming on Greenland! Does that make global warming/cooling/climate 'change' a Bad Thing™ or a Good Thing™ or Just A thing™? Yes!
There are benefits to colder climes becoming warmer ... There are benefits to warmer climes becoming cooler
It is all about trade-offs - some of which humanity might be able to influence/control ... and some of which are entirely outside humanity's control/influence

Everything you mentioning here are none in our control, and this statement, ["Only* governments are "big enough" to accomplish anything ... but they can only "accomplish" something through coercive force on their governed"] .. comes into picture because one has relinquishes all responsibilities, includes very own. Technically disown their self belonging, which I tends to find lots of such lost value people around. There is too much things in one head that unable to manage, someone else need to tell what one needs todo. The problem I seeing, they are blaming our children for these crisis; it is hard coded in their education system. Their new believe system and it is not right. We should able to see the right from wrong. I also don't see right solution. There are things we should learn from Angkor Wat and Maya's so call climate crisis... that's, we can't do nothing when the planet decides to something. The one that holds all control over this planet will lose his grip, the right "great reset". The man made "great reset", is about to preventing that. ... maybe, we can start practice ancient Maya's way of sacrifices humans to pleasing Sun God. I mean when we trying to do something against planets will, we will hurt others. back to responsibilities, we are absolutely not responsible.
- tessar 3y agojust an extra for you, just for you .. I am very hoping that haven't reached the point that the comments and reply are work of bots!! Garrett Hardin the author.. How is his children? here is from my note: This has dire effect on controversial writer such as Alice Bailey or Jordan Peterson, where she/he can be constructed to write based of their eco-system exposure without aware it. We don't overly focus on these drivers for their writing, the initial ideas or reasoning; we have to acknowledge that we are busy and limited on our own. However, it has critical affect or accepted into our belief system and sometimes we ended marching forward with it. Bailey was from an unsuccessful family which can be easily exploited by others, so does Peterson, who trouble cope with his life. It is like getting medical advice or worst treatment on diet from a doctor who is obese.
