- pimlottc 3y agoReddit has a new type of short link on the www.reddit.com UI that doesn’t work if you try to use it on the old.reddit.com UI. Likely the original URL came from www and the submitter changed the URL to old Works: https://new.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/s/SyUcfaeOO3 https://new.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/s/SyUcfaeOO3 Doesn’t work: https://old.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/s/SyUcfaeOO3 https://old.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/s/SyUcfaeOO3 The www short URL redirects to the full URL: https://www.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/comments/1bouuv7/warning_vultr_a_major_cloud_provider_is_now/ https://www.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/comments/1bouuv7/warning... Which DOES work on old.reddit.com; https://old.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/comments/1bouuv7/warning_vultr_a_major_cloud_provider_is_now/ https://old.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/comments/1bouuv7/warning...
